Providence Medford Medical Center is seeking a Senior Sterile Processing Technician for an on-call, variable shift role. The technician will ensure cleaning, sterilization, inspection, and distribution of sterile instrumentation to support surgical and other procedures.

Requirements include ARCS/CST, CSPD certifications, Instrument Specialist certification, at least 3 years of sterile processing experience, and basic PC software skills.

Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
• Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
• Upon hire: National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association
• 3 years of Recent sterile processing experience.
• Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.

Responsabilités

• The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment.
• Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.
