Qualifications

• Must have completed SPD Readiness Course or be nationally certified through HSPA or CBSPD.
• Minimum of 1 year in sterile processing, or 9 months with SPD Readiness Course completion.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the sterilization process from cleaning to distribution of instrument trays.
• Maintains daily records and monitors chemical, mechanical, and biological parameters.
• Precepts and orients new team members and assists in scheduling according to surgery requirements.
• Ensures safe environment and adheres to infection control procedures.
