Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a Full-Time Sterile Processing Technician Lead at the AZ Ortho Joint Replacement Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role focuses on reprocessing reusable medical supplies, supervising staff, and maintaining sterile workflow in accordance with high standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization and storage, while ensuring logs, scheduling and training are properly managed.

Qualifications

• Requires Sterile Process Certification and related technical training.
• Experience as an Instrument Technician in multiple settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of decontamination, cleaning, sterilization and storage processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Central Service technicians in sterile areas.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments.
• Ensure inventory and instrumentation are maintained and logged.
• Provide teaching, coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain logs and schedules for daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with universal precautions and safety standards.
