Job summary

Placements24 invites an experienced Curriculum Developer to join our client in Welkom, Free State, focusing on STEM education. You will design, refine, and align curricula across levels, create engaging materials, and develop robust assessments to measure learning outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s in Education or related field, at least 7 years in curriculum development for STEM, and strong collaboration with educators and SMEs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, STEM field, or Curriculum Development.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development, with a significant focus on STEM.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing curricula.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical theories and instructional design.
• Experience with educational technologies and learning management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for advancing STEM education in Welkom, Free State.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update curriculum content for STEM subjects across various educational levels.
• Ensure curriculum alignment with national standards and educational best practices.
• Create engaging learning materials, including lesson plans, activities, and digital resources.
• Develop robust assessment strategies and tools to measure student learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and instructional designers to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches in STEM education.
