Job summary

The Frankel Cardiovascular Center Cell Regeneration Core at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor is seeking a laboratory technician to advance stem cell–based disease models for PIs and trainees across medicine, bioengineering and pharmacology.

Responsibilities include stem cell culture and differentiation, qPCR, Western blot, immunofluorescence, microscopy and image analysis; plus routine lab documentation for safety inspections and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of laboratory experience required.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stem cell culture and maintenance, directed differentiation.
• Perform optical mapping, Q-PCR, Western blot, immunofluorescence, microscopy and image analysis.
• Prepare data and documentation for safety inspections and reports.
• Assist in report writing and lab records.
