Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Steel Fabricator to join our production team in California. You will fabricate and assemble steel structures using TIG and MIG welding, read blueprints, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Steel Fabricator in the engineering industry.
• Proven experience with TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• 3-5 years' experience in structural steel fitting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the engineering industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and plans.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of conditions.
• A relevant certification or diploma in a related field would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and plans to understand building requirements.
• Fabricate and construct high-quality steel structures and components using TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to measure, cut, and shape steel into specified dimensions.
• Ensure all fabrications and assemblies meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
• Keep an accurate record of all tasks, materials used, and time spent on each project.
