Qualifikationen

• Three years of experience operating, maintaining, and/or repairing stationary high‑pressure boilers and heating systems.
• Certificate of completion of an advanced Stationary Engineer course from an accredited vocational/technical school or community college.
• Two years of experience in operation, maintenance, and/or repair of stationary high-pressure boilers.
• One year of State service as a Stationary Engineer 1.
• Approved HVAC journeyman license or equivalent experience with HVAC systems.

Aufgaben

• Operate, monitor, and repair gauges, valves, metering pumps, boilers, electronic controls, and safety equipment for continuous operation.
• Inspect and repair internal mechanical heating rooms in buildings.
• Repair steam infrastructure across a 68-acre campus.
• Troubleshoot and adjust boiler and HVAC equipment, including DOAS and VRF systems.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend incidents as on-site maintenance expert.
