Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an experienced governmental and regulatory affairs professional in Texas to lead advocacy before state bodies and to shape policy that supports competitive markets.

The role coordinates policy positions, prepares legislative materials, and builds stakeholder relationships at the state and local levels. Key responsibilities include monitoring regulatory initiatives, advising senior leadership, and guiding lobbying efforts across Constellation’s Power and

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required in business, engineering, political science, public policy or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience with leadership in electric/gas industry and government affairs/external affairs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Leads advocacy for the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
• Assist Public Policy Leadership in developing strategic state/local policies to promote competitive markets and legislative strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external Constellation policy, regulatory and legislative positions.
• Prepare written material including whitepapers, talking points, and presentations.
• Review and analyze state legislative, regulatory and public policy initiatives and recommend actions to senior leadership.
• Communicate and translate policy positions and implications to Commercial management.
• Maintain relationships with external policymakers and stakeholders to support Constellation initiatives.
• Manage relationships with state and local elected officials.
• Collaborate with Public Advocacy to attain leadership in professional organizations and industry groups.
• Lead direct lobbying efforts and provide political insights for corporate positions and policies.
• Support Constellation Power and Nuclear plants on government affairs issues.
• Manage regulatory affairs in contested cases before state utility commissions and develop litigation positions.
• Prepare regulatory materials including briefs, expert analysis and testimony.
• Monitor commission meetings and share relevant information with Policy, retail and commercial teams.
