Job summary

Constellation in Austin, TX is seeking a Spring intern for the Public Policy Team to support State Government Affairs, January through May 2027. You will assist with legislative bill-tracking, regulatory monitoring, and event support while collaborating with SGA staff and contractors across the organization.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or related fields, with strong academics, leadership, and communication skills, ready to contribute in a team

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Political Science, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative / 3.0 major.
• Strong academic record with a track record of outstanding performance.
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support State Government Affairs (SGA) in Austin with legislative tracking and analysis.
• Monitor regulatory schedules, attend hearings, and report on actions.
• Provide administrative or research support for business development opportunities.
• Interface with SGA staff, contractors, and other Constellation personnel.
• Assist with Constellation-sponsored events for elected officials and staff.
