Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior State Government Affairs Manager to lead state policy and legislation efforts across the Southeast from a Texas-based remote position. You will develop strategies, build relationships with governors’ offices, legislators, and stakeholders, and drive policy initiatives that enable CoreWeave’s growth in AI infrastructure and data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in multi-state government affairs or related policy roles.
• Deep understanding of state legislative and regulatory processes.
• Proven bipartisan relationship builder with government officials.
• Strong research and analytical skills; ability to synthesize policy information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adaptable messaging.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives.
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, results-focused team player.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead legislative and political engagement for assigned Southeast states.
• Develop state-specific engagement plans with milestones and actions.
• Monitor and interpret legislative/regulatory developments affecting data centers, energy policy, and economic development.
• Build relationships with lawmakers, staff, and stakeholders to support state priorities.
• Conduct policy research and coalition opportunities for advocacy.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for consistent messaging.
• Represent CoreWeave at hearings, events, and stakeholder meetings.
