Apple's Government Affairs team in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a senior State Government Affairs lead to shape policy and guide engagement with state legislators.

You will develop policy strategies, manage relationships with partners, trade associations and relevant organizations, and help position Apple on a broad set of state issues.

Travel is required across the United States; strong written and oral communication and collaborative leadership are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 10+ years experience in government or government relations at the state/local level.
• Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues and coordinating policy-focused events.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies with state and local lobbyists.
• Develop and nurture relationships with partners, industry groups, legislative bodies and related organizations.
• Effectively communicate policy priorities and provide feedback on policy initiatives.
• Draft policy materials for relevant meetings and advocacy.
• Travel extensively, 2–5 trips per month across all 50 states.
