Job summary

ERGO NEXT Insurance in the Boston area is seeking an experienced Product Filings Specialist to own the full lifecycle of multi-state filings, coordinating with regulators and consultants. You will develop filing strategies and maintain policy language while ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

Collaboration with product and legal teams to address objections and monitor ISO/NCCI bureau changes is essential. The role emphasizes regulatory analysis, documentation, and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance, business, law or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing multi-state insurance product filings (Forms, Rates, Rules).
  • Strong knowledge of SERFF, i-File system, and jurisdictional requirements.

What You’ll Do
End‑to‑End Filing & Regulatory Management
  • Own the full lifecycle of product filings, ensuring accurate submissions across all 51 jurisdictions.
  • Develop filing strategies and proactively resolve regulatory challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Manage tight deadlines and relationships with state regulators and external consultants.
  • Analyze insurance regulations, statutes, and bulletins to ensure compliance.
Policy Development & Compliance Collaboration
  • Develop, revise, and maintain policy forms, endorsements, and manuals for commercial Workers’ Compensation and P&C insurance products.
  • Partner with Insurance Product Managers and Legal to draft and refine policy language and address state objections.
  • Oversee and resolve compliance‑related tickets escalated by the Legal and Insurance Product team.
Bureau Tracking & Documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate ISO and NCCI bureau circulars for business impact, collaborating with Insurance Product Managers to assess the need for regulatory filings.
  • Maintain documentation of manual and form language revisions to support audits.
  • Organize and track all filing workflows in Confluence, JIRA, and internal databases.
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, law, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing multi‑state insurance product filings (Forms, Rates, Rules).
  • Strong knowledge of SERFF, Florida's i‑File system, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Deep understanding of commercial P&C policy forms and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits

US Annual Base Salary Range for this full‑time position: $77,000 – $104,000 USD.

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ERGO NEXT employees are also potentially eligible for our annual performance‑based incentive program, in addition to our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.
