Job summary

Bechtel Infrastructure’s Renewables & Clean Power business line seeks qualified project controls professionals for a forthcoming combined cycle power plant project planned in Wyoming. The project team will be based in Reston, VA; following contract award, selected candidates will relocate to designated project site in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience on a project jobsite as a construction planner, preferably with start-up/shutdown/planning roles.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis and MS Office; strong data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, maintains, and forecasts the schedule for commissioning and startup activities.
• Interfaces with construction on turnover packages, scope, sequencing and schedule.
• Supports testing, commissioning, and startup by developing progress curves and reports.
• Develops critical path schedules and schedule performance metrics.
• Monitors subcontractor schedules and analyzes potential schedule improvements.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, and Contracts to align startup activities.
