Job summary

USP, the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention, seeks a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead strategic engagements across stakeholder communities. The role interfaces with senior leaders and collaborates with USP colleagues to align priorities and deliver on our mission.

The position will split time between our Washington, DC office and Rockville, MD headquarters. The successful candidate will drive engagement strategies, develop executive-facing materials, and foster relationships with patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years in life sciences advocacy or related roles.
• Established relationships within patient advocacy or pharmaceutical trade associations.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical life cycle and stakeholder sectors.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence in a matrixed org.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholder organizations.
• Engage USP Convention Members through Sectors with informative programming.
• Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate perspectives into engagement plans.
• Develop presentations and talking points for executives.
• Lead issue management tailored to objectives and stakeholders.
• Own programs that position USP as a leader with meaningful outcomes.
• Serve as a stakeholder engagement expert with executives and colleagues.
