Jacobs is seeking a Public Engagement & Outreach Lead to drive engagement for electric transmission projects. You will build relationships with communities, landowners, officials, and Tribal entities, guiding outreach from planning through closeout.

The role requires strategic direction, collaboration across engineering, environmental, regulatory, and real estate teams, and a commitment to equitable engagement. Travel up to 25% is expected as part of site visits and events.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years of stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or communications experience.
• Experience with electric transmission, utilities, or major infrastructure.
• Proven success leading engagement strategies for complex projects.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience directing consultants or coaching teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction for engagement on complex transmission projects.
• Serve as senior point of contact for key stakeholder relationships and issues.
• Develop comprehensive engagement strategies and long-term plans.
• Direct outreach programs across communities, agencies, and internal teams.
• Lead major public meetings and manage sensitive public discussions.
• Advise leadership on sentiment, risk, and permit strategies.
• Support regulatory filings and executive briefings.
• Establish engagement standards and quality controls.
• Mentor staff and shape departmental practices.
• Represent the organization in high-stakes discussions with officials.
