Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned designer to shape the next generation of public safety applications. You will lead strategic research, define cross-product requirements, and collaborate with the Design System team to ensure a cohesive user experience across the ecosystem.

The role involves coaching design reviews, influencing product decisions, and enabling a safer world through thoughtful, system-wide design. Telecommuting 2–3 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Masters degree + 1 year experience required.
• Experience designing public safety apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next-gen public safety applications.
• Lead high-level research and set the North Star experience vision.
• Architect product strategy and define cross-product requirements.
• Collaborate with Design System team to evolve the system.
• Coach designers and guide design reviews to drive outcomes.
• Influence product decisions across the ecosystem.
• Telecommuting permitted 2–3 days per week.
