Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Sr Staff Test Pilot for Flight Test Operations. You will join a team conducting extensive flight testing on multiple aircraft to advance sensor development and prove aircraft modifications in real-world conditions.

The role requires leadership in flight operations, strong collaboration with program teams, and compliance with security clearances; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of professional/military experience.
• Graduate from a recognized Test Pilot School long course.
• Current FAA Class II medical certificate or ability to obtain one before start.
• U.S. Citizenship and interim U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Fly 1,000 flight hours per year across 6 aircraft for 40+ sensor development programs.
• Participate in large force exercises to showcase technology in operational environments.
• Plan and execute test flights to verify analysis in support of aircraft modifications.
• Provide technical support and liaison with program teams in sensor integration.
