Job summary

Fivetran, a leading data integration company, is seeking a high-performance Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and performance of the data platform. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure robust deployment pipelines and rapid incident response from our Oakland, CA office.

In this full-time, hybrid role, you will monitor infrastructure, drive reliability improvements, and coordinate critical bug fixes while working across AWS/Azure/GCP

Qualifications

• Expertise in managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS and GKE).
• Cloud platforms and related tooling experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong Python programming and Linux administration skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud networking concepts (VPNs, Privatelinks).

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing reliability and robustness of production infrastructure by monitoring availability, capacity, and throughput.
• Evolve systems by integrating reliability into the product roadmap.
• Coordinate bug fixes and critical issues for support or sales requirements as needed.
• Advise on production infrastructure to achieve 100% availability in collaboration with engineering.
• Automate deployments to all environments to ensure scalable artifacts.
• Work with security to monitor and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
