Job summary

SageSure is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve our software platforms serving customers, partners, and operations. This fully remote role emphasizes technical leadership, scalable systems, and close collaboration with product managers, QA, and architects.

You will drive architectural decisions, tackle high-transaction challenges, mentor engineers, and push for modern development practices across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with complex problems and technical direction.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern language (Java, TypeScript, Go, Python, C#, or similar).
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining APIs, services, distributed systems, or modern apps.
• Experience with databases and software design, testing, and development best practices.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and influence cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, especially across remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications, services, APIs, and platform capabilities.
• Lead technical design and implementation for high-transaction, complex requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver quality solutions.
• Set and influence project architecture, patterns, integrations, and engineering standards.
• Identify performance and reliability concerns and implement improvements.
• Deliver software through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
