Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

We're working with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building at the intersection of climate finance and artificial intelligence. They’re on a mission to accelerate the flow of capital into high-impact, climate-positive technologies.

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you’ll drive the architecture of their core platform, build AI-powered features from scratch, and mentor a growing team of engineers. You’ll be hands-on across the stack—working with modern tools and frameworks to tackle critical infrastructure, user-facing applications, and AI/ML systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and scale full-stack systems using React, Next.js, Node, Python, Supabase, and Vercel
• Build and integrate AI/ML features including LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector DBs, and agentic tools
• Lead code quality, security, and performance standards
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver iterative, user-focused solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and shape engineering culture

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 8+ years in full-stack development; 3+ years in AI/ML
• Strong experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering
• Track record of shipping complex systems in fast-paced or early-stage environments
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset
• Passion for solving real-world problems with software

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with RAG pipelines and vector DBs
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen)
• Exposure to financial systems or document-based workflows
• Understanding of security in financial/AI applications
