Senior Staff Software Engineer (REMOTE) – Document Platform
Position Summary
GEICO is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer with a passion for building high-performance, low maintenance, zero-downtime platforms, and applications. You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we redefine experiences for our customers. You will lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap that will increase the velocity of delivering products and unlock new engineering capabilities.
Position Description
The Senior Staff Engineer reports to a Senior Staff Engineering Manager of Document Platform under GEICO Platform Engineering organization. This tech lead works with other engineers to innovate and build a unified and modernized document management system that integrates with multiple business applications to serve critical business processes. You will lead the strategy and execution of the technical roadmap of the foundational sub-area of the entire document management platform. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in large-scale distributed system design and development.

$130,000.00 - $260,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
