The TJX Companies, Inc. in Marlborough, MA seeks a Senior Staff Scrum Master for Global Front of Stores to drive agile delivery across stores and shared services.

You will coach teams, remove impediments, and ensure alignment with Product and Engineering for large epics across multiple banners. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Agile with SAFe, strong leadership, excellent stakeholder communication, and hands-on experience with Jira Align, Confluence, and Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Agile environment as a Scrum Master/PM/PMO with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFE
• Advanced communication, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, team-building, and mentoring skills
• Self-driven and flexible team member with diverse stakeholders and independent work
• Deep knowledge of Agile Methodology and SAFe ceremonies
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations
• Ability to articulate options, planning, and prioritization across ART deliveries
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams to production releases across multiple banners
• Strong communicator across all levels of stakeholders
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency

• SDP controls and Agile Management tools familiarity
• Situational awareness to elevate issues when needed

The Global Front of Stores Delivery Team manages the delivery of solutions to our global stores that enrich the customer experience and provide business value. We are seeking a motivated, talented Senior Staff Scrum Master to deliver these capabilities and solutions to drive value to our stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Staff Scrum Master, your core responsibilities will include managing the flow of work throughout the ART, assisting teams to clear obstacles, manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver on commitments. You will work closely with the Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams, planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment into production for large epics/initiatives that span multiple product and shared services teams.

What you’ll need

We are looking for a Senior Staff Scrum Master who has proven ability to effectively lead delivery efforts and drive outcomes that enhance flow of work efficiencies across Global Front of Stores Agile Release Train. This experience has demonstrated success taking charge to align multiple teams, managing complex initiatives, and driving timely completion of ART wide commitments.

Skills/Knowledge:

• 8+ years in Agile environment as a Scrum Master/Project Manager/Program Manager with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFE
• Advanced communication, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, team-building, and mentoring skills
• Self-driven and flexible team member who adapts quickly and demonstrates ability to work well with others (diverse stakeholders and personality types) as well as independently, applying critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to be assertive, be voice of reason and authority
• Deep knowledge of Agile Methodology and tools with demonstrated experience leading and facilitating SAFe ceremonies (team level and across teams/ART)
• Proven capability of effectively managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Skilled in articulating options, recommendations, planning/replanning, and driving decisions throughout the delivery of work
• Demonstrated success leading cross functional teams to deliver multiple, concurrent releases to production leveraging process to drive consistency
• Highly effective communicator, with demonstrated success in communicating to multiple levels of stakeholders and tailoring communications to fit audiences
• Skilled in leading and delivering outcomes for continuous improvement activities focused on driving efficiencies and speed to value across teams/ART
• Ability to establish an environment where teams can be highly effective, supporting teams by managing outside interruptions and distractions along with addressing any team dynamics if needed
• Adept at Solution Delivery Lifecycle Management, SDP controls, and Agile Management tools (particularly JIRA Align and Confluence as well as Power BI Dashboards).
• Skilled in reviewing metrics to measure progress, analyzing and adjusting learnings
• Ability to show situational awareness, be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate where appropriate
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent IT Delivery skillset/ training / experience
• SAFe or equivalent Scrum Master certification preferred

This position has a starting salary range of USD $116,200.00 to $151,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long‑term incentives.
