Job summary

Amperesand is seeking a senior product leader to own the roadmap for medium-voltage inverter and SST platforms powering data-center campuses. You will drive system-level integration across grid, genset, and storage assets, while coordinating with engineering, firmware, and supply-chain teams.

The role requires deep expertise in MV systems, energy storage, and regulatory standards, with a strong track record in delivering complex hardware-software products on-site in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product or technical leadership within data-center power or grid-scale batteries.
• Strong understanding of MV/AC-DC architectures, grid interconnection, redundancy schemes, and fault protection.
• Energy Storage & EMS familiarity; experience with hybrid systems integration.
• Experience building business cases and ROI models for infrastructure or capital-equipment sales.
• Proven ability to work with engineers, firmware developers, and system architects to deliver complex hardware-software products.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for medium-voltage inverter and SST platforms for data-center campuses.
• Quantify ROI for customers through PUE/WUE improvements and CapEx vs OpEx trade-offs.
• Partner with battery providers to drive deep technical integration with SST.
• Engage with hyperscalers and colocation firms to define performance metrics for uptime and energy density.
• Translate customer site designs into scalable product configurations integrating grid, genset, and storage assets.
