The Futures team develops and incubates emerging technologies, user experiences, and capabilities that will transform the future of our customers, products, and business. We collaborate across teams at Intuit to influence and contribute to the company's strategy.

In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibilities from spearheading to launching the next generation of customer experiences and capabilities for our current and future customers. You will be part of a small, multi-talented team of engineers and product managers, incubating trajectory-changing experiences and services for Intuit.

Responsibilities
  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms.
  • Visualize ideas and concepts effectively to communicate with internal leaders, partners, and customers.
  • Translate visions into concepts and designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
  • Deliver User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate effectively with researchers, product management, development, marketing, and other team members.
  • Use facilitative leadership skills to drive stakeholder outcomes, inspiring and learning from others.
  • Be bold—create compelling visions and translate concepts into simple designs.
  • Learn fast—explore ideas and complex interactions through prototypes and test hypotheses with users.
  • Communicate effectively through storytelling to inspire the team.
  • Mentor and coach junior designers in craft and soft skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Intuit offers a competitive package with pay-for-performance rewards. The base pay range for New York is $181,500 - $251,000. The position may also include a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with company plans. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location. We promote pay equity across ethnicity and gender categories.

Minimum Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in interaction, product, or service design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related; Master’s preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of design principles and methods.
  • Curiosity and commitment to testing and innovating to drive results.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • A compelling online portfolio.
