Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Sr Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer (PCBA) to oversee supplier-driven manufacturing readiness for complex PCB assemblies in Scotts Valley, CA. The role focuses on DFM/DFA, process capability, and cost-effective manufacturing transfers.

You will lead cross-functional teams across PCB fabrication, SMT, assembly, testing, and inspection, driving improvements and supplier performance while traveling as needed to support global projects.

Qualifications

BS degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or equivalent with 8+ years in PCBA manufacturing.
Deep knowledge of PCB/PCBA processes and production transfer.
Experience with SMT, through-hole, soldering, inspection, testing, and process controls.
Ability to assess supplier capabilities and drive corrective actions.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Drive DFM/DFA reviews and manufacturing assessments to ensure designs meet requirements.
Lead industrialization and supplier development across PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
Drive process capability, yield improvement, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Evaluate new PCB technologies for reliability, manufacturability, or cost reductions.
