Job summary

You will work under Named Nurse models, ensuring accurate documentation and high standards of patient care within a compliant healthcare environment. The position offers guaranteed hours contracts (full-time or part-time), with Sunday premium rates and double time on bank holidays, plus induction and ongoing

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect, recognising and supporting their individuality.
• Understand and implement the Named Nurse model, ensuring all related documentation is accurately maintained.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and visitors, providing support and compassion at all times, particularly during bereavement.
• Ensure full compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures across the team.
• Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records in line with legislation and Healthcare standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to policies governing the control, administration, and safe custody of medicines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIQA standards and actively participate in the inspection process.
• Ensure that all resident admissions are completed correctly, with all required documentation fully and accurately prepared.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to support safe and coordinated discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care for each resident.
