Job summary

Mindera is seeking a Java Fullstack Developer to join a lean, politically-free team focused on quality software delivery. You will work across the stack, mentor others, and own features from design through deployment.

Candidates should have 7+ years in Java/Kotlin with Typescript, React/Next.js, and microservices, plus cloud, containers, CI/CD, and English fluency. Being based in Portugal is mandatory, with flexible Office options across Portugal and remote from within the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java/Kotlin experience and modern web skills.
• Proficient in Typescript and React/Next.js.
• Experience with Spring or Micronaut and microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs; API management with Apigee.
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS) and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficient with CI/CD, testing, and observability tools.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB/MySQL.
• Fluent English; real Portugal residency required.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• *The tech stack you will work with depends on the project;

  • Minimum 7 years of experience with Java/Kotlin programming language, including latest versions;
  • Experience with Typescript;
  • Experience with React / Nextjs;
  • Experience in any of the popular web frameworks like Spring (boot, cloud, data flow) or Micronaut;
  • Knowledge of architectural styles: Microservices, Web services, SOA and API Protocols: GraphQL Federation, REST API;
  • API management with Apigee
  • Experience in monitoring & observability: OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, other Observability tools;
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development;
  • Cloud technology experience: Azure or AWS Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions;
  • Experience in working with databases: MongoDB, MySQL;
  • Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, NexusPro (or) similar;
  • Working practices: Knowledge and experience of agile frameworks and practices: Scrum/Kanban, user stories, BDD/TDD, DevOps, Continuous Integration & Delivery, Pair Programming etc;
  • Proficiency in applying design patterns effectively to develop scalable and maintainable solutions;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Mandatory to be located in Portugal

Depending on the project, relevant experience in other areas would be necessary:

• Strong understanding of Product Information Management / Master Data Management platforms (like Stibo STEP), and background in e-commerce/retail would be appreciated;
