We are building a platform that connects merchants to various applications used daily by consumers and businesses. Our flagship CardSwitcher product enables consumers to instantly update and manage their cards on file with online merchant accounts (e.g., Netflix, PayPal). What you’ll do

• Architect, design, deploy, document, and manage our cloud-based network infrastructure.

• Own and maintain critical API infrastructure handling hundreds of requests per second.

• Lead technical decision-making, providing design justifications, coordinating efforts, and aligning with organizational needs.

• Continuously develop understanding of our infrastructure’s long-term needs.

• Resolve complex technical issues and incidents, communicating effectively and escalating when necessary.

• Support and maintain existing infrastructure to ensure high service quality and availability.

What you’ll need to get the job done

• 6+ years of network engineering experience in a software company, preferably a startup.

• Extensive experience with GCP and Kubernetes.

• Proven ability to automate infrastructure and deployments (e.g., Terraform).

• Proficiency with modern tech stacks, including Ruby & Go for programming, gRPC & Protobuf for communication, and low-level primitives like IP networks, GCP VPC, load balancers, and IAM roles.

• Understanding of high-quality code standards and software engineering best practices.

• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment and to continuously grow your skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
