Job summary

Synopsys is seeking an experienced software engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to join the Common Engineering Components (CEC) team. You will deliver enterprise-scale solutions, collaborate with global engineering teams, and drive implementation of next-generation productivity platforms.

You will mentor engineers, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and help shape architecture decisions for scalable, high-performance EDA tools used in silicon chip design.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development, HPC or large-scale systems preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Strong Unix/Linux systems programming with multithreading, IPC, sockets.
