Your Team, Your Impact

As a Hardware Design Senior Staff Engineer with Marvell, you'll be a member of the Central Engineering business group. Central Engineering provides IP used by all business units including Automotive, Security, Custom Computing, Storage, and Networking. You'll be part of the printed circuit board (PCB) engineering team designing hardware for various projects. Additionally, Marvell develops state-of-the-art complex chips and hardware for Data Center applications, exposing you to leading-edge technologies in a high-growth, innovative environment.

What You Can Expect

1. Design high-speed PCBs for PCIe, 112G, 224G Comphy testing applications.
2. Perform schematic design, guide PCB layout, analyze signal/power integrity results, and drive board design reviews with internal teams.
3. Plan and organize board build processes, component procurement, board bring-up, debugging, and testing to meet technical objectives and schedules.
4. Create design specifications and gather input requirements from other teams.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 or more years of experience in hardware development for data network communications.
• Proficiency in ORCad Capture, Cadence Allegro, Python, Verilog, FPGA/CPLD programming, and LTspice.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab test equipment (Oscilloscopes, VNA, BERT, etc.) and standard lab procedures.
• Deep knowledge and expertise in electrical circuit design for power supplies, clock distribution, control logic functions, and communication protocols such as USB, I2C, MDC/MDIO, Ethernet.
• Understanding of signal transmission, signal and power integrity for high-speed PCB design.
• Strong technical documentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

143,200 - 214,500 per annum

The starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. The pay range may be adjusted accordingly.
