Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Full-stack Engineer to help shape the future of banking in the cloud. You will lead technical vision, decompose complex problems, and ensure high-quality design and implementation across domains.

You will collaborate with ML experts, product managers, and people leaders, mentor engineers, and drive modernization from monoliths to microservices while expanding platform capabilities and API standards. A strong track record in distributed systems and cloud is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data architecture
