Samsung Semiconductor in San Jose seeks a senior software engineer to own and evolve large-scale web analytics tools for AI/ML workloads, with a focus on TypeScript/Node.js and a Python FastAPI backend.

You will steer the IDE framework, CI/CD for a polyglot monorepo, and Kubernetes-based isolation while collaborating with users and partners to deliver reliable, scalable software on-site.

Qualifications

10+ years experience with a Bachelor's degree or
8+ years with a Master’s degree
5+ years with a PhD in the field
Strong production TypeScript/Node.js experience
Extensive VS Code extension development
Strong Python backend skills with FastAPI

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain interactive web analytics tools
Set technical direction for the IDE platform
Own the Python compute service and endpoints
Integrate LSP client with language server
Own CI/CD for polyglot monorepo
Manage per-user container isolation with Kubernetes
Stay updated with web IDE tech and operations
Communicate with stakeholders to deliver on time
