Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to build and optimize the EDA design environment and large-scale compute infrastructure. You will set company-wide standards for EDA licensing and R&D software, and design shared design environments used across multiple organizations.

The role sits within AI/PI Group, an internal AI and Process Innovation unit, accelerating AI adoption and enabling frontier AI workflows across the company.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, EE or related field.
• Experience deploying LLM- or vision-powered systems in production.
• Hands-on with agentic AI frameworks and multi-agent patterns.
• Experience with LLM inference optimization and hardware-aware deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productize agentic AI applications end-to-end.
• Architect multi-agent systems and routing across tools and memories.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and quality metrics for AI systems.
• Drive trade-off decisions on models, routing, and configurations.
• Profile workloads to optimize performance on hardware.
