Job summary

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and production support of ruggedized flat panel display systems for military and defense applications, including Navy shipboard combat and control systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Electrical/Hardware/Computer Engineering with extensive experience in quality systems, ISO compliance, CAPA/RCCA, and production operations across R&D and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical/hardware/computer engineering or related technical discipline.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in defense, aerospace, ruggedized electronics, or related high-reliability industries.
• Strong experience with ruggedized display systems, embedded hardware, or military-grade electronics.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, CAPA, RCCA, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, integration, and production support of ruggedized flat panel displays.
• Manage full product lifecycle from concept to qualification, production, deployment, and sustainment.
• Provide technical leadership in hardware engineering, display integration, and validation.
• Oversee lab, prototype, and production engineering activities.
• Develop specifications, test procedures, validation plans, and manufacturing instructions.
• Drive compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and CAPA/RCCA processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Defense customers.
• Support qualification testing against MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and environmental standards.
• Lead engineering reviews, change management, and customer-facing discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion cross-functional teamwork.
