Job summary

Global Ordnance LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and support electrical subsystems for a complex defense weapon system. You will collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test teams to deliver production-ready hardware for Government-led testing and evaluations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years in defense or related fields, and experience with ruggedized electrical systems.

Qualifications

• ITAR Authorized US Persons required.
• Must be lawfully permitted to work in facilities that handle firearms and munitions.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% internationally and domestically; travel may vary based on business needs.
• On-site work at the Tampa Bay Area offices.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in defense/aerospace/industrial programs.
• Experience designing ruggedized electrical systems for harsh environments.
• Familiarity with MILSTD461, MILSTD464, MILSTD810 standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical and electronic subsystems for a defense weapon system.
• Ensure electrical safety, performance, and reliability; support system integration.
• Maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ICDs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for producibility, assembly, inspection, and acceptance.
