Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading protection design and system coordination for T&D.
• Experience managing CIP-014, TPL-001, PRC-006 projects and related initiatives.
• Experience with alarm management, CIP/PRC compliance, and workflow development.
• PE license or MS/equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and analysis of T&D protection schemes, relay settings and system coordination.
• Oversee CIP-014, TPL-001, PRC-006 projects and other initiatives to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and manage workflows for remote relay settings and PRC-027 reviews.
• Serve as technical SME for protection issues; guide engineering and operations.
• Review root-cause analyses of misoperations and drive corrective actions.
• Identify reliability trends and lead improvements aligned with company goals.
• Engage with customers via meetings and reliability event investigations.
• Ensure alarms are meaningful and actionable across Design Basis, Capital Projects, IT, and Power Delivery.
• Monitor SCADA alarms; assist in troubleshooting persistent, nuisance, and critical alarms.
• Coordinate with TCC, DOC and field personnel to investigate high priority alarms.
• Assist construction group to resolve alarms from new projects.
• Support Control Centers with alarm response and compliance.
