This role will report to Sr. Director, Development Engineering. Location: This position will be fully Onsite based in San Jose, CA **Role and Responsibilities:*** Conduct CFD for next generation product development.* Accelerate model predictions and improvement, integrating data and AI tools into physics-based modeling.* Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely inputs with accurate predictions.* Collaborate with Cross-functional teams on a regular basis, for model validations and performance optimization.* Provide regular guidance for Product development, from concept to production.* Report and present results/recommendations across diverse groups. **Skills and Experience:*** MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering.* Deep understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and CFD.* 3+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD.* Highly skilled in CFD tools: ANSYS Fluent/Star-CCM+* Able to utilize first principles for quick calculations and CFD models.* Familiarity with Python, Data Analysis tools are a plus.* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Self-starter and a quick learner.
