Job summary

Stryker is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer to design and implement ICT, functional, and electromechanical test processes for medical device manufacturing. You will support manufacturing readiness globally, develop test fixtures, and collaborate with design, suppliers, and production teams.

The role emphasizes process verification, gauge R&R, and statistical capability analysis to ensure robust production readiness and product quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 6+ years with a master’s).
• Experience developing and implementing PCBA manufacturing test strategies (in-circuit and functional).
• Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand test development environments.
• Knowledge of process risk analysis, control plans, and equipment qualification methodologies.
• Experience applying Gauge R&R and process capability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ICT, functional, and electromechanical test processes for new and existing products to support manufacturing readiness.
• Execute process verification, equipment qualification, and validation activities.
• Develop test fixtures, schematics, instrumentation, and test documentation to improve coverage and quality.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and test issues with production teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
• Provide design-for-testability and design-for-manufacturing input during NPI and transfer activities.
