Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer of Layout Design to lead memory unit cell architecture and core layout development at its San Jose site.

You will design memory unit cell arrays, core layouts, and control logic while creating parametric cells to boost efficiency and standardization. You will collaborate with process integration and design teams to optimize architecture and technology co-optimization, and you will develop test element groups and improve DRCs for

• BS with 15+ years of industry experience.
• MS with 12+ years of industry experience or PhD with 10+ years of industry experience preferred.
• 10+ years of layout design engineering.
• Required knowledge of basic Si process and device.
• Proficient with industry design software and tools Calibre DRC, LVS etc.

What You'll Do

Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is looking for a talent that has strong background and experience on layout design. The candidate will be developing the next generation memory technology.

The Senior Staff Engineer of Layout Design will be responsible for growing Samsung's memory business, building technology leadership and market opportunities.

Location: Onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 5 days a week with an average of 10% travel

What You Bring

$189,000 - $301,000 USD
