OKX is seeking a Senior Java software engineer for the Growth Team in San Francisco. You will collaborate with Product, Design and Marketing to deliver rapid, cross-functional innovation and architect high-performance distributed services supporting growth initiatives.

Responsibilities include tackling complex business logic, improving global user experiences, and guiding best practices with peer code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices/APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading and distributed architectures.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging (Kafka), and distributed caching (Redis).
• Comfort in a cloud-based Linux environment and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing to deliver rapid, cross-functional innovation.
• Architect and maintain high-performance, highly available distributed services.
• Explore DeFi opportunities to promote growth and bridge centralized and decentralized solutions.
