Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for the Customer Agent team to direct a 0-to-1 conversational AI platform that enables brands to deliver autonomous support at scale. This principal-level individual contributor role requires hands-on coding, architecture leadership, and mentorship across engineering teams.

In-office at Boston HQ, you will tackle non-deterministic challenges, safety guardrails, and scalable agent orchestration.

Qualifications

• Architected, built, scaled, and operated production agentic systems end-to-end.
• Solved operational challenges specific to running agents in production.
• Built shared frameworks adopted across multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Set end-to-end technical direction for the Customer Agent platform.
• Code, review architecture decisions and debug production incidents.
• Architect orchestration engines, context stores, guardrails, evaluation frameworks.
