Jarmin, a YC-backed startup based in San Francisco, seeks a Member of Technical Staff to build AI agent infrastructure and product surfaces that power human-level roles in production. You will work with a top team from Meta/Apple to tackle reliability and distributed system challenges across diverse workflows.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years shipping production-grade distributed systems and AI agents, with independence to define work in a fast-paced, in-person SF setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems.
• Proven track record shipping AI agents or AI systems into production.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, in-person SF environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale agent infrastructure and underlying models for reliable performance in production.
• Develop product surfaces and evaluation frameworks to measure efficacy and safety of AI agents.
• Collaborate with a lean, senior team to ship end-to-end production systems without predefined specs.
