Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a Senior Staff Consultant - Business Analyst to drive business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design across technology projects. You will translate business needs into clear user stories and collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver scalable, cloud-enabled solutions.

You will ensure effective stakeholder communication, support testing and implementation, and work in a dynamic, non-hierarchical culture.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6-10 years as a BA/PO in a technology-driven environment.
• Technical background: strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and system integration.
• Analytical skills: ability to break down complex problems and translate to technical solutions.
• Communication: excellent verbal and written skills with business and technical teams.
• Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile, API documentation, data viz tools, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Senior Staff Consultant - Business Analyst

Job Description:

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology needs.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements for technology projects.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Technical Understanding & Solutioning:

• Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are well understood and translated into technical solutions.
• Possess a deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), cloud technologies, APIs, and database management.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend technical improvements or integrations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and efficient solutions.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and technical documentation.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive decision-making and solution design.

Testing & Implementation Support:

• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by defining test cases and ensuring business requirements are met.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during implementation.
• Ensure smooth transition from development to production with proper documentation and training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 6-10 years as a BA/PO in a technology-driven environment.
• Technical Background: Strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and system integration.

• Tools & Technologies: Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, API documentation (Postman, Swagger), data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments with product owners, developers, and testers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects is a plus.
• Certifications like CBAP, CSPO, or Agile certifications are an added advantage.

Salary Range: $115K - $130K Gross (base+bonuses) + standard Nagarro Benefits
