Job summary

Temporal seeks a Senior Staff Product Marketing Engineer to lead competitive benchmarking, positioning, and messaging. You will build a cross‑functional program with win‑loss analysis, reproducible benchmarks, and field enablement to win more deals.

You will design fair benchmarks, document methods, and translate evidence into battlecards, guides, and public content. This role coordinates with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, and Engineering and reports to the Solutions/ GTM leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience building competitive intelligence programs for a technical product.
• Hands-on ability to read distributed systems docs and evaluate architectures.
• Strong written communication and executive briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-build Temporal's competitive intelligence program focused on benchmarking and sales enablement.
• Install, configure, and evaluate competing products to understand architectures, experiences, pricing, and packaging.
• Design and run fair, reproducible benchmarks with documented methods, environment, results, and limitations.
