A leading insurance company is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to manage a caseload of Tort/Liability defense and Workers’ Compensation matters. This Senior Staff Attorney role is an in-house, remote position that will handle a designated caseload of Tort/Liability defense matters in addition to Workers’ Compensation matters. This requires extensive experience with and strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania civil litigation as well as Pennsylvania workers’ compensation litigation practice, including handling civil matters at the Common Pleas level through the Appellate courts, and workers’ compensation matters at multiple levels such as the judicial level, PA Appeal Board, and Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.

This remote position is within Western Pennsylvania, with travel within the state, especially around Western Pennsylvania.
Requirements include high-speed broadband internet (minimum speeds of 5Mbps upload / 30Mbps download), hardwired connection, and other technical specifications.
The annual base pay range is $128,000 - $192,000, based on market analysis, performance, and competencies. Compensation may also include bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
