Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking an experienced Power Application engineer to advance cutting-edge digital power management solutions. The role focuses on multiphase VR systems, embedded SoC power, and cross-functional collaboration to shape product definitions and business plans.

You will contribute technically, lead lab validation, and help translate engineering outcomes into market-ready specifications while engaging with external suppliers and internal marketing teams.

Qualifications

• MS in Engineering or technical equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in the power management industry.
• Experience with firmware-enabled products and large-scale data center SoC power.
• Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering SoC systems.
• Mixed-signal IC/ System knowledge and power management experience.
• Understanding of control loop theory in power converters.
• Proficiency with lab equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators.
• Experience with automation of lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Support technical marketing through global customer visits and analysis.
• Produce detailed Product Requirements Documents for design specs.
• Collaborate with design engineering to resolve conflicts between requirements and capabilities.
• Participate in FPGA-based design prototyping to verify features.
• Interface with suppliers to align requirements and product development.
• Provide deep technical support and training to advance commercial success.
