Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking a seasoned power management engineer to drive design‑in and promotion of cutting‑edge DC‑DC and multiphase power solutions in the United States.

You will collaborate with product definition, marketing, and field teams to win customer designs and shape next‑gen products. You will perform schematic reviews, run detailed simulations, and develop application notes while training FAEs and customer teams.

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSECE with 7+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE (preferred) with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of DC-DC topologies and power management considerations.
• Experience with power ICs, MOSFETs, control loops and multi‑phase buck architectures.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and debugging techniques in high‑speed power designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design‑in activities and product promotion for power management solutions.
• Contribute to product definition based on technical requirements and market needs.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout reviews for evaluation boards and customer designs.
• Develop and run simulations of power converter circuits to resolve issues.
• Author technical documentation to support product deployment and field usage.
• Provide technical training and on‑site/remote support to FAEs and customers.
• Conduct competitive analysis to support marketing and strategic activities.
• Develop a system‑level understanding of customer applications for new product development.
