GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Engineer, Analog Design to drive high-performance analog and mixed signal IP development. This role leads architecture definition, transistor-level design, and silicon validation across global teams including layout and verification.

The ideal candidate has deep CMOS analog design expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record delivering complex IP blocks from concept to silicon, while ensuring robustness and design-for-test readiness.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• 10+ years of analog mixed-signal design experience from concept to silicon.
• Deep CMOS analog design fundamentals including noise, stability, and mismatch.
• Experience with standard EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys) and scripting (PERL, Python).
• Proven transistor-level design, simulation, and verification skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities; cross-functional collaboration.
• Leadership and mentorship for junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Drive design and development of analog and mixed-signal IP blocks.
• Participate in architecture and lead circuit implementation.
• Perform corner, Monte Carlo, and reliability analyses.
• Collaborate with layout, verification, and SoC teams.
• Validate and characterize post-silicon; ensure DFx requirements.
• Lead design reviews and develop verification strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices.
