Job summary

Radian Arc. is seeking a Staff-level AI storage architect to design and operate a high-performance storage layer for GPU-driven AI workloads. You will own architecture and drive cross-functional implementation across storage, compute, and orchestration teams.

You will work on edge and core deployments with StorPool, NVMe, and disaggregated storage like VAST Data and Weka. The role emphasizes scalable design, performance engineering, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience designing distributed storage for high-performance compute and AI workloads.
• Deep understanding of storage patterns for large-scale inference and training.
• Strong knowledge of Linux I/O stacks and data paths.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes storage integration (CSI).
• Experience with lean/fast-scaling environments and architectural ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI storage architectures for edge and core deployments.
• Define storage strategies for distributed inference, fine-tuning, and training workloads.
• Architect solutions across hyperconverged StorPool, local NVMe, and disaggregated storage like VAST/Weka.
• Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for future deployments.
• Benchmark and optimize storage throughput, latency, and data locality for AI workloads.
