You will help build shared platforms, orchestration, and evaluation systems for trusted AI agents across Cisco and Splunk security products. You will translate AI advances into durable security capabilities, and lead cross-team initiatives across public cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments with emphasis on reliability,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing, testing, and/or operating production software.
• Experience with large-scale distributed or AI-enabled production systems; Python or Go.
• Bachelor’s or higher with the specified experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical direction and lead cross-team Agentic SOC capabilities from concept through production improvements.
• Design and build reusable capabilities spanning agent runtime, orchestration, governance, context/memory, evaluation systems, trace analysis and quality gates.
• Translate SOC/SIEM/detection/incident/response needs into shared mechanisms with security-domain experts.
• Design agents and systems for grounded reasoning, planning, delegation, human oversight, traceability, and safe failure handling.
• Define measurable success criteria for AI capabilities including task completion, groundedness, tool-use correctness, latency, and reliability.
• Establish data-driven development with golden datasets, offline/online evaluations, and production traces.
